STAR Soccer Club was created in the spring of 2003 by combining the operations of three soccer clubs:  Finneytown Soccer Club, Winton United, and Wyoming Soccer Club.  STAR Soccer now offers a full range of opportunities for youth soccer players in the Springfield Township Area of Hamilton County.

Players in the program come from many different communities within the general area of Springfield Township.  This includes the communities of Wyoming, Finneytown, Greenhills, Forest Park, Woodlawn, Springdale, Glendale, College Hill, North College Hill, Mt. Healthy, and more.   We think this creates an excellent opportunity to establish new relationships with people who have similar interests. Our program is dedicated to treating all athletes fairly and giving each individual an opportunity to improve and excel.

Tryouts

Because roster size is limited, Star Soccer Club conducts open tryouts to identify those players interested in competing at a higher level, to determine their relative skill level, and to place them on appropriate teams.

It is the philosophy of the Club that players develop their soccer skills more effectively when they play with and against players of comparable ability. Similarly, individual players mature at different rates, both physically and emotionally.
